Welcome! My name is Kristin Hochmuth. I have lived in Clear Creek County for going on 10 years, and think it is a wonderful place to call home! I’m a fortunate woman- married to an amazing man and bless with two of the most phenomenal, adorable and curious little girls any woman could dream about having. Life is good. We spend as much time as we can outside, and often can be found walking our dogs, hiking, rafting and camping.
I was honored to accept the job as the director of the Idaho Springs Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market. My girls and I spend hours meandering through various Markets throughout the spring, summer and fall. I love the natural lessons that come along with the wide variety of colors, textures, and tastes. We love talking about the various veggies that grow up, up, up, or down, down, down. I love that my girls giggle about eating asparagus, beg for fruit like it is the most amazing dessert, and never tire of look at the pumpkins with me.
I strongly believe that we can all make an extreme difference in this world by making very basic choices. The choice to know from where your food comes is an important start. I will excitedly share my experience as we grow our market this year. Please check back in often!
